Pre-requisites

Sun Java Virtual Machine v1.4.2.03 - For versions of JTrader 2.8.3 SP5 or higher

Microsoft Internet Explorer - You need IE 5.5 or later



GNI Screen Sharing:

GNI Screen Sharing will allow us to dial onto your machine and solve your problems remotely, as if we were sitting at your machine.

Please call before establishing a session to ensure a Support Exec can help. Once you have agreed a support session, click on the 'I Accept' button at the bottom of the page, and follow the prompts. Note that all software is removed when the session is over.



Demonstration Trading Software:

This is a self contained demo of the JTrader software. You can trade against a dummy market to get used to the look, feel and functionality of the trading platform.

The demonstration software requires:

  1. the Sun Java Virtual Machine
  2. that Pop-Ups should be allowed for this site
  3. For Windows XP, Please trust www.futuresplatform.com
    • In Internet Explorer, Tools Menu, Select Internet Options
    • On the Security Tab, select Trusted Sites, and click the Sites button
    • Remove the Tick from "Require Server Verification..."
    • Add http://www.futuresplatform.com to the list of trusted sites, and click OK.

Internet Explorer & Security:

Problems logging on? Please check that...

- in Internet Explorer.Tools.InternetOptions.Security, you have the Microsoft VM Java Permissions are set to "Low Safety"
- you don't have a Pop-up Blocker running
- you have opened ports 9990 and 2000 on your firewall for TCP traffic
- you have the correct Java Virtual Machine for your installed JTrader version (see "Pre-requisites" above).



Visual Route:

The Visual Route software traces the path between your machine and GNI's servers, and analyses the quality of the line. Click here for instructions on installing and using this very easy and useful 3rd party tool.
