FUTURES EXPLORATION PROGRAMME

COLLABORATIVE, EXPLORATIVE AND GEARED TOWARD ACTION

Explore the future together with a group of peers from non-competing organisations

Our Futures Exploration Programme, designed by the experienced foresight consulting team at Futures Platform, guides participants through a one-month journey, exploring a wide spectrum of future possibilities within a specific theme. No exhaustive drain on your team's time and energy – just focused exploration and transformative insights.

KEY BENEFITS

HOW DOES IT WORK?

  1. Each iteration centers on a specific theme and involves 2-4 non-competing organizations, totaling approximately 20 participants.

  2. The programme spans four weeks, encompassing four facilitated sessions along with a series of pre- and post-assignments.

  3. Futures Platform's experienced foresight experts oversee the facilitation of sessions and curate all essential pre- and post-materials, such as foresight radars, specific analyses, and discussion summaries.

CASE STUDY

Exploring the metaverse from a taxation point of view

In one of our Futures Exploration Programme sessions held with three national tax authorities, we set out to co-explore the complex topic of virtual worlds from a taxation point of view.

The key focus areas were:

  • How could taxation work in virtual worlds? How can public service organisations make their services accessible in these contexts?

  • What do the authorities need to be prepared for in terms of opportunities vs risks?

  • What kind of indicative actions match the identified key opportunities and risks?

“Futures Platform helps our team to explore, categorise, and visualise future changes.”
