EU-Funded Development Project: AI-Based Future Foresight Service

Futures Platform Oy has completed a development project titled “AI-based Future Foresight”, co-funded by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) under the programme Renewing and Skilled Finland 2021–2027.
The objective of the project was to create the conditions for significant business growth by developing a new AI-based service for future foresight. The project aimed to automate data analysis and scenario modelling processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and analytical capacity for future-oriented decision-making.
During the project, a new AI-based foresight service was designed, developed, and piloted. The work included service design and technical planning, development of a minimum viable product (MVP), testing with pilot customers, and preparation for international commercialisation.
As a result of the project, the first commercial version of Synapse, a new AI-based futures intelligence service was created. The service is offered as a SaaS solution and extends the company’s offerings to a broader audience of decision-makers.
The project was implemented between 1 September 2023 and 15th December 2025.
